Nicholas Catahan

A time-served academic and practitioner, researcher in transformative service and sustainability, Nick is passionate about innovation in garden tourism development for the good of people, plants, place, and planet. He has over 25 years’ experience consulting, designing, leading, and delivering on a range of tourism curricula across the UK education and training system; including those across public, private, and voluntary sectors, secondary schools, further education and sixth form colleges, community colleges, and universities. He has a passion and background in horticulture, the voluntary sector, ecosystem management, heritage, conservation, tourism, education, social enterprise, and place and service making- marketing, management, and development.

Michelle Hopwood

Interested in strategic and operations management in garden tourism and sustainability developing academic and practitioner insights on environmental, sociocultural and economic value, creating shared value, green care to support stakeholders, as well as green human resource management. Over 25 years working in travel and tourism, human resources, health and welfare, heritage, conservation, sustainability and higher education across UK public, private and voluntary sectors.
